Winter Flying WAITLIST 

Winter flying Quick overview 
In Florida our favorite time of year to fly is Winter ( January - March). Unfortunately during these months we have to cancel more than 75% of our flights. If you'd like to be placed on a waitlist we will contact you if weather is flyable. Please read the full explanation below for all the details about taking a balloon flight with any company in Florida between January 4th - March 31st.
Winter flying Full explanation 
In Florida our favorite time of year to fly is Winter ( January 4th - March 31st). Unfortunately during these months we have to cancel more then 75% of flights due to bad weather. Safety is our top priority and we will not fly if it is not safe to do so. Our balloon community in Florida is very small, when our pilots make the GO/NO-GO decision the night before the flight we consult with the other balloonist in the area. If one balloon cancels because of weather normally the other balloon companies cancel. We have up to 5 different balloons that we can fly on any given day. Our flights normally require advance reservations, and payment in FULL to secure the pilot and the balloon on a given day. During the winter months we have implemented a waitlist so you are not charged until we think you will be able to fly.
Winter weather cancelation 
Winter weather inevitably forces us to canceled 75% of our flights. We are not only disappointing you but it also takes our credit card processor 3 - 7 business days to get your refund credited back to you. During this time of year we have implemented a waitlist. You can provide all the dates that you would like to fly and if weather allows we will contact you between 72 and 24 hours before a flight to confirm your reservation. As a reminder we have 5 balloons we can book on any given day.  Please use the green blue button at the top of the page. to be placed on the waitlist. NOTE You can contact one of the other companies in the area to book a flight. They will require a FULL payment to secure your booking. This waitlist is used to let passengers know that winter flights are rare but it is still possible and we will fly if it's safe to do so.
The following companies will allow you to book a paid flight so you will NOT be placed on our waitlist. NOTE they will require full payment at time of booking. OR

How the waitlist will work
We received the most accurate forecast between 72hr - 12hr before a flight. Our flights depart at 6AM ONLY. Our pilots will review the weather If they determined it will be safe to fly we will review the waitlist and contact passengers to confirm reservations. We will be calling/texting you from (407)-900-1002/407-900-1003 please add this number to your contacts so you don't miss a call from us. If we don't reach you we will proceed to the next family on the waitlist. Once we have spoken to you and you have confirmed you would still like to fly, Your credit card on file will be charged the full amount of your flight. In the event of weather cancellation we will issue a FULL refund. In the event that passengers are LATE or NO-SHOW for a flight they have confirmed the cancellation policy (link) will be applied.

What dates range would you like to fly if weather permits
  • Enter the dates you would like to fly. Example (01/20/2022 - 1/24/2022) OR (Jan - March). Remember winter flying has a 75% cancelation rate the more days you enter the better chance you will have to fly.
Payment method on file 
  • You will be ask to place a credit card on file. You will NOT be charged until we call and talk with you about a confirmed flying date. If we don't call you you will NOT be charged.

We want to be in the air with you so we will be watching the weather for any days that will be safe to fly.
