Important Update to Our Booking Process & Flight Seasons

To provide the safest and most spectacular hot air balloon experience, we are adjusting our booking process to better align with seasonal weather patterns in Florida. Please review our two distinct flying seasons below.

If you would prefer you can join our waitlist, and if we have any available flights during your travle to the aera

Primary Flying Season: April 1st – September 30

 

This is the ideal time for Florida flying! During these months, our booking system operates as usual, allowing you to schedule your adventure far in advance.

• Booking Window: Open for advance reservations.

• Best For: Planners, visitors scheduling a trip, and anyone looking to secure a specific date.

Weather-Permitting Season: October 1st – March 31

Your safety is our number one priority. The weather during the fall, winter, and early spring can be unpredictable, and the most accurate forecasts are only available a couple of days out. To prevent disappointment from last-minute cancellations and to ensure we only fly in perfect conditions, we have moved to a short-term booking window 48hrs before a flight for this season.

How to Book From October to March

​​

Flight availability will now be posted online approximately 24 - 48 hours (1-2 days) in advance once we can confirm a safe and favorable weather forecast.

This means you will need to check our booking calendar closer to your desired flight date.

• To fly on a Monday, check for openings on Saturday or Sunday.

• To fly on a Tuesday, check for openings on Sunday or Monday.

• To fly on a Wednesday, check for openings on Monday or Tuesday.

• To fly on a Thursday, check for openings on Tuesday or Wednesday.

• To fly on a Friday, check for openings on Wednesday or Thursday.

• To fly on a Saturday, check for openings on Thursday or Friday.

• To fly on a Sunday, check for openings on Friday or Saturday.

How to Read the Booking Calendar

 

• Green or Blue Dates: We are flying! Spots are available to be booked immediately.

• Greyed-Out Dates: There is no availability. This means either (1) the weather forecast is not suitable for a safe flight, or (2) all available spots for that day have already been sold.
