What to Expect

Balloon Education Program

Demonstration info

We are  going to be utilizing a private estate for your balloon demonstration.

We are excited to host you at this beautiful private location! Because we are guests here for our educational programs, please make sure to use the specific address provided for your arrival. We also ask that you closely supervise your students. To help us maintain our access to this site, please note that any damage to the grounds will unfortunately result in the balloon demonstration ending early and the group being asked to depart.

The Final Restroom Stop

Our Balloon locations are beautiful but remote. Please stop at the Daybreak Gas Station (marked in PINK on your map) before you arrive.

  • The station is approximately 2 minutes from the meeting field.

  • There are no restroom facilities available for the next three hours. If a member of your group needs a facility later, they must return to the Daybreak gas station. Please be aware that "utilizing nature" is not permitted on this private estate; we must respect the grounds and the property owners' rules at all times.

Finding the Entrance

After crossing over Hwy 27 (the final stoplight), continue for 1.2 miles. Please note that this is a dark, back-country road with limited lighting.

Watch for these landmarks:

  • The Canal Bridge: As you approach the location, you will cross over a small canal bridge.

  • The Red Lights: Immediately after the bridge on the LEFT side of the road, look for a driveway marked by a tree wrapped in red lights.

  • Slow Down: The driveway is partially hidden. Please slow down as you cross the bridge and use your turn signal early to ensure a safe entry.

Please refer to the photos below to familiarize yourself with the entryway.

Arrival & Gate Information

The gate to the private field will open exactly 30 minutes prior to your scheduled demonstration. Please do not arrive earlier than this, as there is very limited space at the entrance. To ensure everyone’s safety, do not stop or idle on the main road. If you arrive and there is no room to pull in, please continue down the road and turn around only when it is safe to do so.

If you find that you have extra time before the gate opens, we recommend heading back to the Daybreak Gas Station if you need a final restroom break, as there are no facilities available at the launch site.

Parking

Once you pass through the gate, turn left and our team will show you where to park. Please take it slow and keep a close eye out for children and families heading to the demonstration. To make sure there's room for everyone, please park near the next car in line. You’ll see a beautiful lighted area along the fence—once you're parked, head over to the truck and trailer to check in with us!

Supervision & Vehicle Safety:

During the demonstration, we ask that you closely monitor your students and ensure everyone remains with the group. If a student needs to leave for any reason and you must move your vehicle, please use extreme caution while driving on the property to ensure the safety of all guests.

sustainability of the program

We love sharing the magic of ballooning with you! This experience is powered entirely by volunteers and donated equipment. If you’d like to help us continue offering these free demonstrations, please consider a donation toward our fuel and maintenance. Our crew works hard (and takes time away from their day jobs!) to make this happen safely. While never expected, tips for exceptional service are deeply appreciated and shared among the whole crew. If you don't carry cash, just ask your pilot about our digital payment options.

Departure Safety

Once the demonstration has concluded and the equipment is packed, please exercise extreme caution when leaving the property or backing out of your parking space. There will be children walking in the area, so please remain highly aware of your surroundings. If you require a spotter or any assistance safely exiting the property, please let one of our staff members know—we are happy to help.
